Pg from late ovulation

I just found out I'm pg and my latest worry is that since I got pregnant from a late ovulation that my egg wasn't good. I'm always nervous until I get an u/s. Did anyone here get pregnant froma late ovulation and have a succesful pregnancy from it. Usually I have bad lp when I ovulate late so I thought the egg quality for me was poor. I used npc this cycle and it worked but I hope my egg quality was ok. I also got pg from 3 day sperm so I hope the combination of a late egg and a couple day old sperm is ok.

i have no clue about the egg, but i *think* an egg is an egg and sperm that makes it to that egg is sperm?

GOOD LUCK!!!

I'm holding my sleeping 2-month-old baby girl who was conceived, to our surprise and joy, on CD 27 or so of a normally 29-day cycle (with ovulation occurring for me generally on CD14). She's hitting her milestones so far (smiling, holding head up, eye contact) and is loveliness itself. Enjoy your pregnancy!!

A late O dosnt make a bad egg. The body just dosnt start to mature the egg till later in the cycle so the egg is really the exact same it would have been because the hormones where the same as in a regular cycle just delayed. Sperm after 3 days is what many time dtd to get a girl for and there are many happy healthy little girls out there

I actually ovulated on day 27 so that makes me feel better.

I am sitting here, 15 wks along, everything looks & sounds good... & I conceived this little one during a month that I ovulated 2 weeks late. The only difference it made is when I got my first ultrasound, the due date was changed, as I was only 5 weeks instead of the 7 that we were expecting.

Congratulations!!!!

I always ovulate late (around day 19-22) and have an LP of 7-9 days. I always thought this might hinder my chances of getting pregnant, but I've always been able to conceive quickly. Both my pregnancies have been very healthy.

I also ovulate late and have LPs under 10 days. I concieved on the first try all 3 times, and had healthy pregnancies. DS 2 was concieved on day 28 (other two were earlier by a week or so), and I did have some unexplained bleeding with him about the time I would have had my first 2 periods if I hadn't concieved. No other problems.

Good luck!
