My PMS is coming back...

When I got AF back 6mo PP it was a huge shock because I had no symptoms prior to its return. I'm almost 9 months PP now and I'm starting to get bad PMS again...

You know the drill: Cravings (and I get b*tchy about them because they get so strong), hormones that cause me to be a mean person, tired all the time, pain in my lower abdomen around my hipbones, etc...

It's getting worse and, if I know my body, will continue to do so until I get a full on depression the week before my period.

I don't want to do birth control (my doctor in high school told me that was the only option) because I'm nursing and we plan on TTC during the next year. What can I take herb wise that will help and is safe to take while nursing?

A mineral supp helps me with cramps, I don't know if it's just the magnesium, or the combo of cal & mag (you may just need the mag, in which case taking extra calcium could be counterproductive), but I haven't had mood stuff, so I don't know if it's involved there.

I _think_ I've read that some folks have had improvements with an omega-3 supp, maybe some cod liver oil would be good. Don't know what type of dosages would help.
