Tan, Blue and Lavender Styles Temporarily Off

Hi everyone!

I hate to have to do this but I am trying to sort out some problems with some coding displaying differently in different styles. To troubleshoot I need to temporarily remove the Tan, Blue, and Lavender styles as options. It may take me a day or a few days or maybe longer. As soon as I sort it out I will replace them. So sorry to have to do this. I know how much some of you like your favorite style.

Thank you for the heads up, I was about to freak out a teeny bit because it's hard to adjust your eyes to a new style.

Oh my, the view is TERRIBLE now. It's all jammed into the centre of my screen again. This isn't really a case of what's pretty or not, but rather a case of usability for the forums if the skin that allows the words to go across the entire screen is gone.

I appreciate the heads up, but really, truly, the default skin shouldn't have everything in the centre of the page so people have to scroll for a bazillion years. I really hope this doesn't take a few days.

I thought I was logged out when MDC first loaded, since it wasn't in the right color. Then I was even more confused when I couldn't see the tab for changing skins at the bottom of the page where it usually is.

Yes. Seriously, it's not about the color. It's not about change, per se, either. The 'MotheringDotCommunity' style is just plain awkward.

I'm curious, is there some advantage to vBulletin to have all the posts centered? It seems like an inefficient use of space.

me, too- exactly! I was just coming on here to inquire about that. the way it is now I see the advertisemens even when I am logged in or reading a post, plus it is all compressed. Thank you for explaining it and I am glad it will go back to normal on its own!
