Pregnant with toddler; feeling hopeless - Page 2

Aw, hugs mama! I remember those days, and I want to give you a big hug and tell you it does get better!!
My two are 28 months apart ( but now 7 and 9 yrs old) and I think you just have to cut yourself some slack and try not to do too much. Your house will be a little messier from here on out, but thats okay. That is normal and definitely good enough. So are the sandwiches and fruits and veggies with dip. That sounds like a yummy balanced meal to me!

Try to delegate some tasks to your dh, if that's possible, just a few and take care of your priorities and let the rest go. Also make sure you are getting extra rest and water, that alone would make me grumpy if I didnt get enough of. LOL

Lastly, this too shall pass, everything does...good or bad. Be gentle with yourself, we all go through it even though it seems like we are keeping it together.

Oh I said lastly but one more thing: I tried to get some snack prep/ meal prep done ahead of time when I could. Cut up veggies in bags in the fridge, roast a whole chicken to eat off of for days, pre filled water bottles, etc.

((Hugs)))

You will be a great mom to 2 kiddies! Right now its hard but believe me its going to get better. when my son was 7 months old I found out i was pregnant again, that was a tough pill to swallow so I know how you feel. when i brought the baby home my little boy was 16 months old. I wont lie and say it was a walk in the park but i made it through fine and u will too =)
they are now 7 and 8 and best buds!
