Maternity photos - didn't do w/ 1st pregnancy, should I do with 2nd?

If you didn't have maternity photos done with your 1st pregnancy, are you going to do it with your 2nd or 3rd? I'm approaching 34 weeks and am wanting to do it, but am a bit on the fence. Anyone willing to twist my arm for me?

I'm doing it! I didn't with my first. My reasoning is this: with my first, we took almost weekly photos of me when I was pregnant. This time...I think we've taken like 3. So, this time around I'm going for quality over quantity! Plus, my little family has NEVER had any professional pictures taken of us (none of DS, etc) so I figure it's high time.

You might ask around in your "Finding Your Tribe" area for mamas that are looking to build their photo portfolios - I'm getting an awesome Maternity/Newborn package for 1/2 off her regular price! Woo-hoo!

If you lived around here Id do it for 20 bucks lol... but I love doing them.

Did my own with DD. Much MUCH more experienced with photography and photo editing now so I cant wait to do my own with this one too!

I'm doing it, for the first time, and this is baby #3. I have a friend who's a photographer, and she's offered to do them for me.
DH and I are 99% sure that this is our last babe, so I'm going a bit no-holds-barred. I'm also doing a belly cast this time, which is something I thought was frivilous and clutter-y before. Ahem.

YES! But, then, I'm a professional photographer and have lots of friends to do trade with. I spent early Sunday morning romping around half naked in a wet, freezing field by the side of the road for a photographer friend, and plan to do more in a studio, etc.
At the very least I would say make sure you have a friend who likes taking pictures take a lot of good ones so you'll have a record. I have been trying hard to take lots of self portraits but it is kind of a pain, so I'm hoping to do a few more shoots before my due date.
You won't regret it if you do them!

I'd do them if you want! No reason not to, just because you didn't before. Each child/pregnancy is different, and so are the ways you honor them.

I do because it's our last baby but I don't want to spend a ton. Also, I'm thinking of how they will be displayed. Will they go in an album, on DS#'s wall in his nursery, things of this nature. Just trying to piece it all together.
