Hi there, my son is 8 months now and originally my sweetheart and I thought I would nurse until he turns one and start to wean him off but still pump. Now that I have read various articles on nursing past infancy I feel like we should let him be the one to wean himself, or at least try to wean him closer to two. My boyfriend is pretty openminded but still thinks it's weird having a bigger kid nursing, and our friends that have babies don't practice attatchment parenting so I think he feels that we would be making him more of a "mama's boy" by not weaning him. I also get the same vibe from his family. I would like to know if anyone can reccommend some good books that have good facts on it so we can read it together instead of him just hearing it from me : ) Thank you so much!
