No, but psyched to see Ellen as a judge! I've never seen an episode, so I can't wait to hear how Idol-ers think she is as a judge!

Watching it now... I love the audition part of AI!

We don't do tv. Is there anywhere I can watch it online for free?

I am not a big fan of Elen so I dont have high hopes she will contribute much. I miss Paula a lot already. I figure this will be the second to last season since this is his last season

Might get to see snippets on youtube

That one dude in the glasses with the attitude scared me. I kept thinking he might have bodies buried in his yard or attic

Can't wait for Simon Cowell's new show the X Factor. I think it will knock American Idol out the ball park.

That's what I was thinking too! I love Ellen and can't wait to see her this year. I think next season will be a bust without Simon and it will end. X-Factor will be the new thing! Can't wait for that.

I guess there is no way to watch this online. We missed last night and was hoping to watch it but can't seem to find it anywhere...

The blond girl, Vanessa Wolfe from Monroe county Vonore TN lives just down the road from me as they say around here. I will be rooting for her she has real potential. She will just have to feel more confidence in herself.

I can so relate to the small town girl wanting out and so happy she is at least going to get the chance to fly on an ario-plane

Just the bickering back and forth between her and Simon

I watched last night and tonight. My daughter watched part of it with me tonight, and she totally didn't agree with any of the judges picks, and wanted to know why they never showed good singers. The two friends, Carmen and...nuts, I forget the other girl already, but when Carmen started to sing, my daughter was like, "Oh yeah, right, you both are equally talented." It turned out she thought the other girl, with the softer voice, was much better. She couldn't believe they picked Carmen.

I loved that she sang Wagon Wheel. I bet the judges didn't even know the song!
