Diaper Bags - Queen Bee? Other Brands?

I'm trying not to fixate on "needing" a diaper bag, since I know generally any bag that is comfortable with lots of space and pockets will work. DH and I bought a simple messenger style bag from Ikea for $8 this weekend that will likely work for smaller trips and errands. But... I am thinking about splurging on a nice one for myself, since it will be coming with us everywhere. Anyone have recommendations or a wish list?
I love Queen Bee and would adore one of these:

but even as a splurge, $160 and up is kind of crazy for a bag.
Any input?

Oh my...I LOVE queen bee and had no idea they were doing DIAPER BAGS!!! Darnit...

With that said, I just use my large queen bee tote these days, but I do have a compartmentalized diaper bag thats been helpful from time to time (mainly when traveling).

But with #2 on the way...well...I may need a new one...bye bye tax refund!

Sorry, I know that wasn't much help .

ooooh I want one too!!! I have a 10 dollar bag that is basically just black vinyl bc I am such a mess maker. haha I will stick with that one until I figure out how big and how nice I really want my "diaper bag" to be. I don't plan on carrying another purse so I eventually want a bag that doubles as a cute purse.

I have a ju-ju-be that is super cute but I'm not loving it so much after a year of use. I don't have a whole lot of space in it even though it is huge. There are a lot of pockets (almost too many for my taste) and I don't know how I will fit all the stuff I will need for 2 babies in there. I'm hoping to get a new one even though it is a total waste of money. I also dont use a purse so I do feel that I "deserve" a nice diaper bag. Not sure my DH agrees but my mom made sure to tell him a new baby = a new diaper bag.

Those QB bags are nice!

I am picky about my diaper bags. I want them to reflect my personality & be kind of funky but also functional. It is not just my baby bag, it's my bag too. Folks here raved about the JuJuBe Be All bag so I went to my local Buy Buy Baby who retails them to take a look & I just wasn't sure it was what I needed on the inside. There are lots of great little pockets & touches for some of my everyday stuff which is cool, but then the inside seemed just kind of open & easy to loose track of stuff.

I actually went out to Etsy & found this shop:

I sent my own fabric in & made some specific requests on pockets I wanted both inside & out. I also wanted a very adjustable messenger style because I wanted to be able to get it over the baby in a MT front carry. I matched the fabric to the carrier I was having made (www.bloo-kangaroo.com-GREAT carriers!) The bag ended up being $70 & included a changing pad in my fabric as well. I am really happy with it & looking fwd to testing it out with both girls.

This is one of my other bags & I use it often:

Pros: machine washable; good amt of pockets; lots of matching accessories/smaller bags; nice changing pad included;
Cons: black inside makes it hard to see; cell phone case that is included doesn't fit my iphone or many other newer phones;

Lauren, the beauty of Queen Bee is that its all vinyl/pleather and SUPER easy to clean. Honestly.

I love the Queen Bee (or Chickpea) bags--I have had two messenger bags for over five years and still get compliments on them. I'm mightily tempted by the big "sprout" bag. But I also love Lexie Barnes bags (she makes popular knitting bags), and they're a little lighter and streamlined and seem a bit more like a baby friendly purse bag, rather than a designated diaper bag.

I like it in Delilah. At $129, they're slightly more reasonable, and they wipe off just as well. Toss up.

Get something you love b/c it will be your purse. I have a Fleurville bag and it was worth every penny. Tell partner to get their own b/c it is YOUR bag.

Great feedback... I too don't want to carry any other purse or bag, and want lots of space and low maintenance clean up. Those Queenbee/ Chickpea bags are so pricey, but it seems like people agree across the board that they are worth it - not only are they sturdy, but it's going to be with me so much that I should embrace it and invest!
Now, where is Santa when you need him...
