I took my DD to the pediatrician today for a infected blister. While we were waiting in the exam room we got pretty bored and started looking through pamphlets (she's only 15 months so content didn't matter to her).
Anyway, I looked through the pamphlet for boys going through puberty and was frustrated to see that the only diagram of a penis in it was of a circed penis. Obvious circ scar and everything.
They covered doing a testicle exam, but no mention of foreskins or being intact at all. It was really annoying to me.
Anyway, this is a pretty AP friendly practice so I mentioned it to the doctor before we left. Hopefully they'll do something about it.
