I'm looking for some low carb veg foods to add in to my diet so I'm getting enough calories. I'm consuming 25 grams or less carbs per meal/snack and waiting at least 2 hours before eating 25 grams again. I've been fine, but last night I was starving. I figured out the calories and it was right around 1000 for the day, so I need to bump it up. I'm having 1/2 cup cottage cheese and could make it a whole cup, but I'd prefer not to. Also, I skipped my flax oil yesterday, which would have added 100 calories.
