Ds (2yo) has taken to really liking early reader books as bedtime books. Frog and Toad and Little Bear
are the ones we have right now. I think the simple, repetitive language, and the kinda boring plots help him chill out for sleep. We also read several at his grandparent's house that they had saved from dp's childhood.
Well, they all have male main characters. So I am looking for some with female main characters. We try to switch the pronouns around, but it is hard to remember when also trying to read in a calming voice, etc.
I just need to get to a bookstore and peruse, but it would be cheaper for me to know some titles, and then try to get them used on Amazon and half.com.
Any suggestions would be great thanks.
