mold and fermented veggies??

So, I just tried my first batch of fermented veggies (green beans). They have been on the counter for about a week and a half. All of a sudden I have mold on the top the last couple of days. I scraped it off and shook the container up, and mold is back again today. So, I did the same thing. I tasted them and they taste nice and pickled, no funny taste of anything.

So, how do I keep the mold at bay? Is it okay to just keep scraping it off? Will the mold stop now that it's in the refrigerator. Should I strain the greenbeans and put them in a new brine or something? Help a first timer out please!!!

I'm VERY excited that they otherwise turned out great and taste YUMMY!!!

Thanks,
Valerie

I scrape it off the top while it's fermenting, and when I do that right before (same day) I put it in the frig, I don't get more mold in the frig (mostly, I've had a couple batches go bad like that, I do chuck the batch at that point).
