Diapers smell clean...but my laundry room smells like poop

Title says it all. Everytime I wash diapers that have poop it makes my laundry room smell. Thankfully it's still that "sweet" smelling BF poop...but it's just weird. I open my dryer and it smells like poop but when I pull the diapers to my nose they all smell fine.

Depending on how much detergent your using I might try a little more, then hot washes w/no soap till there are no suds. What kind of dipes are you using? Also what kind/how much detergent are you using? Fl or tl?

Microfiber can be a pain to get really clean IMO. Id try a little more detergent w/ur next wash & see if that helps. HTH

Do you have a frontloader? I would try running a wash with just soap and water, to clean your machine. And if you have a FL, pay special attention to the seals and clean under those really well.

We have a 27-mo-old, and the laundry room smells after a BM diaper, especially after DH has dealt with it(!). I think it gets into the machine, and possibly into the trap on the pipe of the sink where we wet the wipes. DH rinses off the diapers there. (I rinse in the toilet.)

Sorry to be gross about it getting into the machine, but it's a possibility. OUr machine is older and I think it possibly doesn't have the best rinse cycle.
