Hi there,

I practised the EC method with my gorgeous (now 3 year old) daughter and it was brilliant - she was independant from a very early age using the big toilet all by herself at 16 months. I now also have a gorgeous little boy who turns 1 next week. I've been doing the EC method since he was born but as soon as he started to crawl (at 6 months) it has been almost impossible to carry on. He won't sit still on the potty at all and crawls straight off it asap. He wriggles like crazy in my arms if held over the toilet or anything else. It does also seem that he prefers to wee standing up which I suppose is not that unnatural considering he is a boy. I really do want to continue and try and keep him nappy free but these days I do find myself putting him in re-usables quite a lot. Any advice? I do also think that it is harder for me this time round because my daughter is at home also so my time is not 100% on my son as it was with my daughter - I keep thinking I have missed all the signs and now because he is older it just won't/can't happen? Hope someone can help me with any tips/advice - thanks
