So yesterday my aunt came over and told me the most afwul story. A friend of hers is going through a messy divorce, and of course the children are stuck in the middle. The couple has triplets, 3 boys, 8 years old and they bed share. They are living with their mom and grandma and one sleeps with the mom, one with the grandma and one is a floater 
Anyway, I guess the husband either has an issue with this OR has made an issue out of this to stick it to her, but it came up in court. He said that the mother and grandmother were "perverted" to be sleeping with 8 year old boys and the judge bought it! He put it in the court order that the bed sharing was to stop THAT night!
I am in complete shock. Is it even legal to order that? What about the psychological damage to the boys? They weren't even given the time to wean. When the boys heard that they couldn't bed share one broke into tears and asked "What happens if I am scared mommy?". Ugg, I just don't get it. This just happened on Monday and they have another hearing on Friday so hopefully something will get resolved, but I just cannot believe this can happen? What next, you cannot breastfeed because it is perverted?
