Pukey Toddler

This is my 17 month old today---> :Puke

I am pretty much carrying a bath towel with us everywhere and trying to catch puke before it hits the bed or the couch or the carpet or anything else that can't go in the washing machine.

What do you guys do when your toddlers are throwing up? Anything I can do to make him comfy? He mostly wants to play quietly and lay on me and his papa and read books (and then vomit in our hair )

Oh yeah, we had that pleasure a few months ago and then we had a pukey toddler and mommy at the same time. We just put down blankets everywhere so we could change them and try to spare the carpet. We watched a lot of Sesame Street trying to get her to stay in one place. At night we layered the bedding so when she and I both got sick I just had to strip off the layer and not remake the entire bed as it was already done. The worse part was having her get sick then I had to run to the bathroom to get sick and leave her sobbing in the room!

I don't ever want to experience that again! Dh had it the next week and he was such a baby as he did not have to deal with a sick toddler at the same time. It was also hard because she wanted to nurse all the time and I knew that in 20 minutes or so she would just puke it back up. I never once worried about dehydration though.

I hope your little one feels better soon!
