Is the baby trying to tell me something?

I'm just about 36 weeks but for the last two weeks the baby has been flipping to breech while at night and then back to head down by afternoon. I can tell where the baby's head is by the hiccups and that stomach churning feeling when it turns 180 degrees.

I sleep on my sides, not my back. I switch sides every two hours after a bathroom trip. The baby usually flips to head down after a period of walking and being on my feet.

I am also:
  • mild polyhyrdraminos (that I am hoping won't be present in tomorrow's US)
  • SPD
  • Android pelvis
  • This is my third pregnancy.

Maybe just too much room or the baby doesn't like my pelvis at night?

Just don't go into labor while baby flips to breech...your care provider will freak out

That is so interesting though. My baby is stubborn & refuses to move much. Amazing how different pregnancies can be.

I would think that maybe this means staying in a bed throughout your labor might be a very bad idea for you. Maybe? Just since the baby seems to get turned around when you lie down, then back head down when you're on your feet.

OMGosh, I did not think about this at the labor stage! Good point!
(Thank you!)

Have you tried Chiropractic and/or Cranio-sacral therapy? Both can help to free up room in the pelvis and get those babies a little more comfy in there so they will "lock in" head down in a good position....
