Ped recommendations in Pittsburgh Area

I take my kids to Pediatric Alliance (Pleasant Hills/Squirrel Hill offices), and I really loved the group when I started taking my daughter. However, recently, I've become rather uncomfortable with the misinformation they're giving me regarding my intact son, and their attempts at retracting him. I'm looking for a foreskin friendly pediatrician, and one that accepts UPMC for You (until my dh finds another job, at least). Can anyone help me out?

I loved Dr. Donnelly at the Pediatric Alliance North Hills office. It is too far for me to make them my regular office (we go to Dr. Offerman, a family doctor in Point Breeze normally) but when my son had a UTI he was up on all the latest research, helped us avoid a VCUG and said there was no reason to retract even for catheterization. He is also cosleeping-friendly. Generally I am not big on the Pediatric Alliance; I interviewed docs at the Squirrel Hill office during my first pregnancy, and I took my son for his 48 hr checkup to the Greenfield office. Both times I was unhappy. But I do like Dr. Donnelly.
Good luck!

Dr. Hildebrand in East Liberty is great. He comes across a bit quirky but supports breastfeeding cosleeping and selected or non vaxing. He will always ask about vaxing but never seemed pushy with us. We originally started with Pediatric alliance in Squirell Hill and got kicked out because we refused to vax- I hated them all, and their breastfeeding advice want even that great. So for doctor needs I go to Dr. Hildebrand. We have UPMC insurance but he takes lot of insurances I think. Good luck!

I had forgotten to come back and update - that's actually exactly who we've switched to! He's wonderful!

I am looking for good Pittsburgh area doctor for myself. Any recommendations? I would prefer a doctor look doesn't flinch when I mention elderberry, herbs or homeopathy, but would settle for one that at least respects my choices. Preferably a female physician. I live near the South Hills in Rosslyn Farms. My kids use and love Pediatrics South.
