Is there a product like the hidden valley ranch seasoning packet but without MSG? I used to use this a lot and would like to again..or a recipe for a blend I can do myself?? to use on potatoes, chicken, etc?

Make your own. It's super easy!!
Dry Ranch Dressing Mix
1/2 cup dry buttermilk powder
1 tablespoon dried parsley, crushed
1 teaspoon dried dill weed
1 teaspoon onion powder
1 teaspoon dried minced onion
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/4 teaspoon ground pepper
Combine all ingredients in the container of a food processor or
blender and process on high speed until well blended and powdery
smooth.
To use mix: Combine 1 tablespoon dry mix with 1 cup milk and 1 cup
mayonnaise. Mix well.
Makes 2 cups salad dressing

I've made this one using 1/2 c mayo, 1/2 c sour cream and 1/2 c buttermilk (instead of just mayo/sc) and I really like it! You can make it a little thick for a dip or thin it with more buttermilk for dressing.

I haven't tried the Paul Newman or the simply organic powder, but I recently tried a store brand organic ranch and thought it was terrible (the brand I think is Nature's Organics or something like that).
