I have a daycare boy who is about 5 and a half months.
He's very intense and physical. He can crawl, roll, kinda sit up... but, he falls over.
Even all of this isn't enough for him. He loves to be bounced, thrown, hung upside down, swung...etc. The more physcally abusive you are the happier he is. He wants to jump so bad he can barely stand it.
He sees something he wants...even if it's impossible to get to, it's his his life's work to get it. His enthusiasm for his new project is very impressive.
Anyway... My tired old brain needs ideas to give him something physical, fun, and yet safe that he will enjoy. He prefers non safe objects. You should see the way he dives for the knife drawer when I'm holding him.
I know he would LOVE a Johnny jumper, but, I don't really have any good doorways to hang it in... and I'm a little afraid of those anyway.

My daughter LOVES it!
