Is this/could this be a UTI?

I am 20 weeks pregnant. I had severe frequency of peeing issues when I was first pregnant, up 2-3 times each night. About a month ago, I stop waking to pee, but when I woke in the morning I would be in so much pain because I had to pee so badly. Some mornings I wouldnt even be able to stand up straight until I peed, and when I was going it would be painful as well.

For the last couple days, I feel that pain, but it is constant. It is as if I were constipated, almost, in the lower abdomen, mostly on the left side. I have been peeing normally and frequently except for in the morning when I wake up...as mentioned before. I just dont know why I would be in pain, all the time.

No fever. No urgency issues. Always have a full bladder, not just trickles, when I go. No discomfort other than lower abdominal pain. Urine is a little cloudy sometimes, but not always.

So, could it be a UTI, with only internal pain?

There are test strips that you can buy at major drugstores. One brand is Azo, which sells 3 strips/$10.

I don't get urgency, or trickles. For me it's kidney pain, but you're saying lower left, not upper left. Do you have a call-in number for your doctor, where you could ask if you need to be seen?

Yeah, it isnt in the kidneys. I would be going in if it were. I have an appt in a couple days, so unless it gets worse I will just wait.

I am actually thinking now it may just be uterus growing, organ moving, things stretching pain. I didnt have any abdominal pain with DD (until labor), so it had me a little worried...but I think that may be all it is. This baby is just getting heavier!

In my first pregnancy I had two UTI's, one right after the other. Second pregnancy, I was sure I had a UTI...went to the doc's twice...both tests came up negative. He said I just needed to drink more water. Did so and it went away within a few days.

I had lowerleft pain with a UTI - I thought it might be appendicitis. After two or three days, it became so painful I went to the ER. I would get it checked out, either with the test strips or at your HCP's office. They should be able to do a test right there. ABX suck, but UTI pain is some of the worst i've ever had.
