Simple baby tee to knit?

I'm looking for something really simple, preferably pull-over that would be easy to tinker with, and knit in the round would be great. I need to be able to make it narrower and longer, adjust sleeve length easily, etc. But all the knit patterns I'm finding for shirts are wrap/kimono style or really girly. My kid is skinny and long, so store-bought clothes aren't going to fit him much longer.

This one is designed to be child-sized, but it's been in my queue for a long time since it's knit in the round and looks fairly simple - perhaps you could modify/size it down?

With limited skills, I turned this one into a sleep sack. So, I consider it pretty adaptable.

That one looks perfect, thank you! It actually has a 6 mo sizing on the pattern. Off to swatch it up.

If your baby is younger than that, try knitting it up with sock weight yarn with the same instructions and it should come out smaller.
