Noise Making Jewelry

Is there such a thing for toddlers/babies? I'm thinking something like anklets or bracelets with little bells.

I'm interested, because my cutie is quite quiet when she wakes up from her naps, and lately the baby monitor is not helping me hear her get up. I'm worried she's going to get into something she's not supposed to or take a dive off the bed. I also love baby jewelry.

The only problem is that anything like that will also run the risk of waking her up if she kicks in her sleep. But if you want to try it, check out belly dance supplies, they'll have tie-on anklets that could work.

I never got around to it, but I seriously considered figuring out a way to hang bells along the edge of the mattress so they'd ring with the vibration of her standing up. Only I daresay she'd start throwing herself around in bed to get them to ring more.

I just made sure there was nothing too harmful for DS to get into and taught him how to get of the bed on his tummy feet first and encouraged him to do that when he woke up instead of picking him up. He is very quite when he wakes up and he often surprises me in the kitchen or I think I hear something on the monitor and go in to check on him and find him, getting a drink of water from his straw cup on the bedside table, pulling out his spare cloth diapers and wool from the dresser and throwing them on the floor or turning on the light. All very innocent and safe activities.
