We just started EC with our 9 month old son Asa. Asa had been a quick learner and is very advanced - he's been walking since 8 months, started saying mama at about 9, etc. We're quite proud! 
Since about 6 months though Asa has HATED diaper changes. We use Bum Genius and change him often, no diaper rashes, but he struggled and cried and fought every single diaper change. So we've started to potty train! We're only a few days in and the problem I am finding now is that he'll hold the poop in until we put a diaper on him. He pees freely (and I NEVER seem to get there fast enough to get him over the toilet, anyone else have this problem?) but will hold the poo all day until we finally put on a diaper for nap time of bed time. Any suggestions?
