there was a buddhist mamas thread, but it became inactive. this question came up, and mamas had many different experiences--very welcoming to children, special occasions welcoming, and less welcoming. that is, less active in making children a part of the community.

tricycle? maybe there is another community near you. (scroll to bottom of their home page)
