If you started ms at 4 weeks how bad did it get

I swear I'm already starting to get some m/s this time and I am only 4 weeks. I got pretty bad m/s with my ds but it didn't start until 6 weeks and got bad around 7. I would probably panick if I didn't have any m/s but I don't want it to be really bad. Will it be really bad if it starts early? What have your experiences been? Give me the good, bad and the ugly.

With my first, it started around 6-7 weeks. It was bad and I was on anti-nausea meds until 20 weeks, but it was at least controlled with them. As long as I stayed on top of the meds, I was fine.

This time it started right around 4.5 weeks and it was bad enough that anti-nausea meds didn't work well (I was still vomiting 3+ times a day with meds) and I ended up in the ER for dehydration and stronger meds. I was finally able to wean off the meds at about 30 weeks.

DS I started well after my BFP and was so bad I was put on Reglan and nearly hospitalized

DD I started at 5dpo and it came and went, sometimes bad... sometimes none at all

this time it started at 5dpo and while it hasnt gotten as bad as with DD... it is coming and going like it did with her already.

Mine came on at once and full force at 6 weeks with my first, and just started sneeking it's way in off and on at 4 weeks with this one, but got every bit as bad from 6-14. Good luck.

HappiLeigh, HI! Looks like we're pregnant at the same time again. You were in my Feb 06 DDC. Congrats on your baby-to-be!

OP~ I've had m/s on and off since very early. I'm six weeks now, and only in the last few days has it been getting more predictable. I hope the early symptoms are just comforting for you, and not a sign of really bad m/s to come!

This pregnancy was the first I got MS that early (4 weeks), all my previous pregnancies were at least 6 or 7 weeks.

Usually my MS has lasted until 12 weeks or so, this time it was letting up by 8 weeks, totally gone by 10 weeks.

Mine started early for me this time @ 4w. It has definitely NOT been as severe as some of my other pgs, although it isn't completely gone yet. So for me, although the severity has been lessened, it is lasting much longer than usual.

Mine started at 3 weeks. It continues at 28 weeks. Last time it began at 3 and continued until DD was born. It got very ugly during 1st tri both times and I ended up on meds both times. With DD, I was on phenergen from 7 weeks onward 'til delivery. With this one, I had a script for phenergen at 4-1/2 weeks, it did nothing, and I ended up on IV rehydration at the hospital a day short of 5 weeks. Then I started Zofran ODT, had a few days without puking, and after that it became increasingly intense until I was throwing up like 8x/day. I lost 9 lbs during 1st tri. After 12 weeks things calmed down and now I only throw up a few times a day and take Zofran 1-2x/day. I've regained the 9 lbs plus another 10, so that's good news at least.
