sulfur for constipation? (toddler)

We had our first appt with a homepath practitioner today for my 2 year old.
Her problem she cant poop and hasnt been able to since she was EBF at 10 months old as soon as she started to drop feedings her bowels locked up, and to be honest she only pooped once a week when she was an infant EBF.

So anyhow we had my DD on miralax off and on for about 7 months , well i have read nort such goods things about children being on that, so we decided to find an alternative to help her, hence an appt with our homepathic practitioner.

He wants her to take 2 pellets once a day for a week and then 2 times a day for a week.
I am new to all this and I am a little nervous about giving this to her, I was hoping I could get some input. My DD is a horrible sleeper, wakes up crying at night for no reason and can't poop she he felt this would be the best thing to try to start taking everything in to account (the body as a whole).

So please if anyone can help ease my mins about giving this her please reply.
I imagine giving her Miralax would have worse side effect then the sulfur so I dont know why I am so nervous. Please respond. thank you

I definitely wouldn't do miralax. We struggled big time with constipation when DD started solids. Tried everything under the sun. Probiotics and fermented foods saved us! Just a week after starting that she started pooping regularly. Now poops 2-3 times a day

What have tried for constipation? What is her diet like? She's pretty severe I would agree with PP and look into diet. Maybe eliminate dairy or wheat to start? A good probiotic is always a good thing to take as well. I would give sulfur or miralax in a second! But sounds like there's other issues there so I would look at diet for sure
