Ergo - how high do you have the upper back clip?

I'm having trouble reaching the back clip on my Ergo, so I have it pretty high up. I'm wondering if that's a good idea and where it should sit?

Also, does anyone have any tips for reaching that to get it done up. I try to loosen it before I take it off and then also loosen the side straps, so once I put it back on there is a lot of slack to make it easier, but I still have a hard time with it.

It's easier to have the back strap all the way up. It should feel sort of like you're putting on a necklace, but maybe an inch or two lower. Also, if you have all the straps pretty loose, you can buckle the back strap first, then put you head through it. That might be easier for you than buckling it behind you. Lastly, don't loosen the straps to the max, then you don't have enough of the strap to grab/pull on. I usually leave 3-4 inches at the end to grab on to tighten. Hope this helps. Good luck!
