I just wanted to share a positive. I'm on cloud nine.
We had a fantastic day! We meet with a group of 5 families on Thursdays at our local library. Today was the Thurs. where we wash the toys and clean the children's floor as a thank you to the library for letting us use rooms to meet for our reader theater group and geography club.
Anyway, the kids were so delighted with themselves today. Not one adult had to help them organize the different tasks or divide the workload fairly. Everyone had fun cleaning and chatting together. The whole floor was clean and sanitized.
Then we went into a meeting room and played board games and Chinese jump rope. The kids ranged in age from 12 to 4. There are different faiths and lifestyles in this group. We all get along. We all enjoy playing and learning together. It's my dream come true!
