Is anyone watching the new Project Runway? - Page 2

It is crazy Ping did not go home. Her dress was unwearable.

I thought the girl in the top three who made the dress with the body still burlap color should have won. She made a gorgeous dress without dying most of the fabric.

I hated Pings dress as well. Looks like something you wear to garden in!

so rediculous!

I didnt think last weeks winning dress was all that great.

*sigh* i see another disappointing season ahead.

I think they are keeping Ping for her "interesting" point of view. The producers I mean. Anyone who is boring will go home. They are trying to get back their viewers and spice up the season.

I also think that the 2nd place should have won. Hers looked so soft, the design was cool and the dye was amazing.

Yeah they made the WRONG choice this week (and last!). Ping needs to go. Her construction is bad and her design is horrible!!! I felt so bad for the woman who went home.

I think you're right, Tilia, about the boring people going home.

Amy Sarabi. I think she's my early favorite.

I wasn't really wowed by last season and I'm hoping this one will be better. I thought Amy's dress should have won, definitely. I think the right person lost, though Ping was really close. I'm betting they keep Ping for a bit because she is "interesting" in her point of view, but she'll go home by about 1/2 way through the season. Or she'll be one of those that are either on the top or bottom for each challenge but never in the middle.

I'm with what all the PPs have said so far! Half of me can't believe Ping didn't go home, and half of me is glad she's still on - she is interesting, I think... Amy's dress was so much more beautiful than the dress that won. I can't believe that the winner was even in the top three!
Here's hoping for a better season than the last one.

I'm feeling a little more OK about things after last night, finally Ping going home. It was definitely the right decision last night. Still... not 100% sold on this season yet. Bummer cause I've been such an addict in the past!!

Thank goodness Ping finally went home.

I loved the dress with the big thing on the one shoulder and the bare other side. That was a fantastic dress!

I didn't super love the black and white pantsuit thing but, I'm glad she won - she was very passionate about her vision.

I also didn't love the winning outfit, but I do appreciate that it was well made and she followed her vision, and made something other than a gown!

I didn't think Anthony's (?) dress was that bad- the puffy yellow and black one. I don't think it deserved bottom 2!

So glad Ping is gone. I HATED the pantsuit. I just can't believe it won. And Heidi would really wear that? Yuck!

I actually didn't mind the yellow and black dress either.

I did not like the winning look. Tight pants with a big oversized jacket? I know the 80s are coming back but it was just not a good look at all. I don't get it.

I thought the winning dress was great. So flowy and I liked the shiny peaking thru the sheer overlay. It looked really good on her model.

The designer that got sent home was awful. It was an 80s prom dress. It didn't fit her in front at all.

I really did not like the star dress made by Mila. It fit very oddly and it looked strange when the model walked.

I like Maya's heart dress but it didn't looked finished. It looked bigger on one side which I did not like. I also thought it looked different from her sketch.

Some of the dresses were not meant for a gala. They really did not have enough time to complete an evening gown.

I agree about the winning and losing dresses. I think the right people won and went home. Next week's looks interesting. I wonder what the prize will be.

Yeah, I think the star dress was gross. It did not in any way desreve to be in the top three. However, I do think they made the right choices as far as who won and who went home. When I saw the winning dress ebing made, I didn't think much of it - I didn't think she would be going home, but I didn't expect the top three. However, seeing it come down the catwalk, I saw how gorgeous it was. I'm really glad the 80's hairband groupie dress was the worse. My husband loved it, though. I kept laughing at him, telling him he'd have to pay me a million dollars if he wanted me to wear something like that. That's why I tell him not to buy me clothes as gifts

how adorable was seth Aaron dressed as a "campbell's kid"?

I liked the winning dress!

I thought the losing one wasn't THAT horrible But Jesus had been in the bottom 3 a few times, I think, so for that alone I think it was his time to go.

Janeane's was awful; I was shocked that they did not put her in the bottom 3 so it could be commented on!

I actually loved the winning dress. I agreed with the judges this time.

Mila was in the bottom. Finally. The dress was awful. The sewing was awful for some of the corners. The excuse was awful "it looked more peach in my hand."

I thought the right person went home. They could have sent home the bottom 2 and I would have been happy.
I wish they HAD knocked off both of the bottom two - mostly because every. single. person. left. from last night gets to have a dummy collection at fashion week

I totally agree. I wish they had taken out both Anna (?) and Janeane. Those outfits were HORRIBLE!!! Esp. that awful shapeless shirt/vest (LOL, I just wrote "sh!ts" instead of shirt! freudian slip!) I thought it was funny when she said that outfit represented her as a designer so well- really?!

what do you mean, nearly every person left makes a collection?
