the PR runway show at bryant park was friday - so in order to keep the ending secret almost every single person left after thursday made a dummy collection (well 3 weren't dummies but you get the idea)...

I think Gordana really got shafted last season.

That butterfly dress was SO MUCH better than that blue one!! Ugh!!

I loved the winner's kid outfit, so cute! And the adult jacket he made was amazing.

I actually liked the color combination of Amy Serabi's design. I thought the little girls outfit was cute. The adult clown pants, not so much. That was bad.

I didn't mind the toilet paper dress either. His kid outfit was very odd.

I loved all three of the top outfits this week!!! LOVED them! I'm so glad Amy wasn't sent home. Not sure what she was thinking with those pants, though. I didn't think her blue and orange sweater and skirt combo was that bad at all.

ME too! I had so much fun watching this episode with DD (8). She loved Amy's outfit for girls and also Seth Allen's (without the watermelon pockets).

I though Jess would be safe with his nice hair accessory. And then I wondered what was the Vegas stripper accessory???? Nothing in her big hair, I did not see any jewelry, but that could have been lost with all the washers....

I can't believe the judges were as kind as they were about Emilio's bikini! And they didn't even call him out on the lie! That was totally ridiculous! I dont think he should have gone home, since he has otherwise shown great talent, and made a grave mistake this time. But he sure did deserve to be raked over the coals for that one! I was shocked that they were somewhat complimentary!

I totally disagreed with the judges this past week. I didn't want Amy to go home. I liked that team's outfits. I thought the Chinatown one was meh. The evening was was ok, but that day look was horrible, I thought. I loved the denim Harlem look but I was surprised that the judges liked the evening look so much. It was a zipper dress with yellow underneath? So what! It was not pretty or imaginative.

as an aside - we *really* watch too many of the same shows LOL - I saw the email alert & read your post in my email before coming here to respond and it took me a few seconds to realize you weren't talking about ANTM - I was like "wait? there was another episode already? what day is today?" as homer simpson would say - "DOH!"

I am still watching. I did think Seth Arron and Emillio did the best job of working together, meshing styles etc.. I also liked the Chinatown looks.

Amy... well I think she has good ideas, but just can't seem to translate them into wearable designs.

I'm sad about who went home. I thought that Jonathan should have gone. And I thought Seth Aaron should have won last night! Of course, I usually disagree with the judges decisions. Emilio's was alright. Good, even, but not as great as SA's!

I can't believe all the Emilio love. His print dress was pretty cute and cool looking, but his Harlem night dress was pretty awful. It looked lumpy and stiff and just not that amazing, compared to some of the other outfits.

I also hate that Mila got such a pass with that hideous creation. Her model couldn't walk in it at all! What?! She should at least have been in the bottom 2. I guess they figure she takes risks blah blah blah. They're so biased, it's not always about each look being judged, obviously.

I wish Amy had done better. She seemed SO promising and cool and I liked her vibe. But she just isn't cut out for designing on a reality show, I think.

I feel bad for Maya, she's done great work and has never gotten the win, whereas Emilio got 3... and I'm so curious about the mystery surrounding her (as reported on project rungay... which I am off to read now ).

I totally agree! I thought Mila's was awful!! I can't believe she didn't get more negative feedback than she did!

And I actually really liked Jonathan's dress, the colors, fabric pattern, and the dress itself (minus the straitjacket ) I was shocked that they hated it so much!

I couldn't stand Emilio's fabric! The color or pattern. Or Jay's, and he was safe!

I guess you could say I completely disagreed with the judging this week!

Emilio's ego really grates. How much of that is really how he is, and how much is film editing?

Why do I get the feeling Mila wouldn't be allowed to continue on if she wasn't a female and this show now airs on Lifetime and they could not have three male finalists? I think Jay is soo much more innovative than Mila, all she does is black and white all the time anyway, and last night when she did color, it was cheap-looking pairing of flourescent green w/flourescent pink?
