do I need a ssc?

I already have a mei tai and I'm trying to decide if I need a ssc. Are there advantages of a ssc over a mei tai, or are the buckles the only difference?
Babywearing is addictive... Those ssc are so cute

buckles are easier in a parking lot imo but you can get a support belt (by Pikkolo) if you need more support......so it's just buckles basically
