odd question but indentify this candy?

My DD is super picky when it comes to food she dslikes most any sweets and candy NOT something I loose sleep over However shes came home from school the other day saying her teacher passed out a "chocolate" and she really liked it (and FTR no its quite unussual for the school do do that) Anyways I'd love to know what it was I know the obvious answer is adk the techer but its hard to get in to do this and a meeting over a piece of candy seems silly..
Anyways all my DD its flat at the botton and is mountain shaped on top (I thought like a hershey kiss but shes said no) says there is a bright red wrapped and it way have some white on it?? but its not foil like.. At the groccery store she said it was the recess cups but when I told her those had peanut butter shes said these didn't.. Says her teacher got it at Walmart (shes also says that with pretty much everything though )
Any idea?

Could you just write the teacher a note? We communicate with dd's teacher through notes a few times a week. I also email her, but it seems like notes are easiest for her, based on how quickly she gets back to me.

Sounds like an individually wrapped Toblerone. They're shaped like a pyramid and there are different flavors of chocolate, including one with a white "peak" made with white chocolate over milk chocolate.

Maybe Toblerone? Maybe pin a note to your dd's backpack so the teacher could quickly jot down the type of candy, so its not a full-on meeting, just a simple question? Tell her to save the wrapper in her pocket next time

(ahh, see how sloooooow I type?!! lol)

twin bing?

and it could have been any old valentines candy.

I would send a note to the teacher.

My first thought was Ferrero Rocher but then I just did a google image search and they are wrapped in gold not red. Toblerone is also a possibility.

maybe I'll show her a picture and see if shes reconginizes it. Good idea about the wrapper and the note.

My first thought was also Toblerone.

However, if your dd thought it was a Reese's cup, it could be almost anything. There are a variety of "cup" shaped chocolates, with various fillings (I've seen mint, berry and caramel, off the top of my head).

I second sending a note. That's how I used to talk to ds1's teachers. (Now that he's in high school, I use email.)

Was it a miniature mounds bar?

Maybe some sort of bell shaped Christmas candy...

I was thinking mounds too. The wrapper is red I think.

I wonder if it wasn't an individually wrapped Lindt truffle. You can buy them in walmart and they are wrapped in red, although they aren't particularly mountain shaped.
