Hi All,

I am looking for a book that has ideas for crafts and activities to do with my preschooler-- I found about a million on amazon-- looking for some recommendations

Thanks!

We were given this book, Easy Art Fun, as a hand me down. DD1 (3.5) absolutely adores reading it. She asks for it at bedtime every night and will recite huge portions of the instructions. She has yet to ask to do any of the crafts in it, though. They look easy and fun

I picked up a couple on the clearance table at Barns and Noble a few years back and I've gotten some great ideas out of them.

The Arts and Crafts Busy Book by Trish Kuffner

Not sure what my daughter's attraction to this activity book is, but she LOVED it while it lasted:

Got us through a plane trip from JFK to Seattle, and MANY restaurant meals!

I like Family Fun magazine for craft ideas. It was recently bought by Disney, so there's a few pages in the beginning pushing Disney stuff, but after that there's no mention. Lots of fun food ideas but a lot of junky food (recipes for cupcakes, cookies, crafts with store-bought candy, etc.) in some issues, some nature crafts, some outdoors ideas, etc.

It seems to be aimed at older kids (My oldest is 3) and it would help to have a backyard (we're condo dwellers, currently).
