Who here has had acupuncture? I'm starting next weeek but man it's expensive! So I want to make sure it's worth the $. I'm getting it for thyroid issues. My ND said she's seen good results with it.

I started acupuncture for a headache that has persisted for 9+ months (started at the onset of preeclampsia, accompanied by a blood pressure spike; had a clean MRI and ophthalmologist exam). After one visit, my headache was less severe than it had been since it started, and I wasn't getting the sharp shooting spikes as often. My blood pressure also went from around 120/70s to 105/65. It crept back up after a couple of weeks, but I had another treatment yesterday and it was lower again last night. The headache is also a little better today.

I know not to expect miracles after just 2 sessions, but I've seen a bit of relief already and am optimistic that future treatments will help even more!

It will be the best money you've spent in a long time, I say. Definitely worth it.
