Kissaluvs...can you use without diaper cover at home with NB?

Title says it all I am reluctant in using cloth on a newborn, as it seems soooo bulky. Kissaluvs size 0 get nice reviews, and the one I have here is pretty thick. Can you get away without using a cover around the house? What about when they are sleeping, or when I am wearing her? How fast does it leak?

I had kissaluvs with my last NB and he peed through them and they were saturated, I dont buy them for that reason. I think you will need a cover on a NB over a fitted, especially if you plan to put clothes on them.
When my son was 12-24 mo in warm weather hed run around in a fitted and t shirt, but he was mobile. If he was sitting in a swing or bouncy seat it would have been soaked.

I didn't use KL0s, but I did leave my NB coverless for most of his first 3 weeks of life. I put something absorbent under him if I was laying him down, but other than that, I just wanted to change him as soon as he peed. Even when I was wearing him - we were skin to skin, so I didn't have to worry about clothes getting wet. He spent his first several weeks in a fitted and a wool shirt.

Our kissaluvs got pretty saturated with each pee. I wouldn't recommend them without a cover.

I also used Kissaluvs for a short time, and they would get saturated very quickly. I wouldn't use them without a cover. I found pockets to be much more effective.

I used them without a cover when ds was newborn. Sometimes a little would soak through to my shirt, but it didn't bother me (or dp when it happened to him).

You could always use fleece pants as covers. That's what I do now over fitteds, and it keeps my clothes from getting wet, even if the fitted is soaked.
