I am expecting DC#2 in June and just bought a chest freezer so that I can freeze meals and snacks to have on hand when the new baby is born. I have never done this before and don't know what kinds of things freeze well. I am a gluten-free vegan who eats mostly raw but a couple of times per week my husband and daughter add meat to the veg meals that I make. What kinds of dinners freeze well? How soon ahead of time can I start making and freezing things? If I want to make doughy things ahead of time, like pizza dough, do I let the dough ball rise before I freeze it or after? Are there vegan cookbooks with good ideas for this kind of thing? Thanks!!!
