Low Grade Virus? Teething?

Basically all week my DS (7.5 months) has been "off" (well off/on anyway). Sleeping a lot more than usual, off/on low grade fever (not above 100.2 temporally), fussy, wanting to be held constantly (not the norm for him), etc. Also spitting up a bit and frequent wet burps - nothing crazy but more than usual.

Yet eating (both bottles - unfortunately FF - and solids) very well. And yesterday seemed much more himself, also the first half of today - but now "off" again.

He's been showing signs of teething forever - could this just be that? Or more likely a low grade bug? Anything I need to/should do other than tons of hugs, kisses, cuddles, etc?

We had a day just like this two weeks ago with my 8mo. I did nothing for the fever and just held him all day and he napped off and on in my arms and didn't want to be put down. He was super mellow and back to normal the next day. He had thrown up once earlier in the day as well.

Just keep taking care of him and leave the fever alone

We're dealing with this now minus the low grade fever. Our fever has been hanging in the 101.4 area. He's not showing any obvious signs of teething but we do have the sniffles. I did give him some Motrin to help him battle through the night since he's been feeling not so great and running a fever since Wed. night. I'm hoping we'll be done with the fever by tomorrow. I hate seeing my poor guy so miserable.

Thanks guys and sorry Shy that you guy isn't feeling well either. Haven't given anything to lower fever. On advice of a homeopath friend was giving cell salts (Bioplasma) Wednesday and yesterday but he seemed good this morning so I hadn't used them - guess I should go back to them! Other than that just doing lots of cuddles, love and helping him get as much sleep as possible (not hard as he's CRAZY tired). Really odd how hungry he is/well he's eating though.

DD used to get viruses hand in hand with teething so I guess it could be that - but so hard to say. Just hope he feels better soon!

DS has also been nursing tons more than usual the past several days and nights. Maybe its part comfort or maybe he's just really thirsty/hungry. Getting him to nurse during the day is usually next to impossible since he's usually so busy playing.

Such a strange thing... This morning his eyes are a bit watery and head a bit warm. Temp only 99.8 temporally and drank really well. Maybe really is just teething? So hard to say. Did go back to his cell salts/Bioplasma this morning.
