For all who have asked, briefly:
Our children's orphanage (Foyer de Sion) has 3 buildings in 3 different suburbs of PaP: Leogane, Carrefour and Petionville. 2 of the buildings were destroyed. All of the children are reported as alive and are now housed in a church building in Petionville. We were told last night that they have a 2 day supply of food, but no drinking water. One of the mothers who adopted from them in the past was in Haiti on a medical mission when the quake hit ad she is trying to find a water purifier for them tomorrow. The O director suffered a broken leg, we do not know about any injuries to the children or nannies, other than we know one nanny is missing and presumed dead, but we do not know if she was at the O when the earthquake hit.
Please keep Haiti in your thoughts and prayers. And please donate if you have not already or again if you can.
