Can anyone recommend one over the other? Why?

I used the Booby Tubes when I first started nursing. I haven't used the other ones, but, when I started nursing, I had a lot of problems with DS's latch and as a result, had bleeding nipples that hurt to have ANYTHING touching them. So I appreciated that the Booby Tubes went around the nipples, and didn't actually touch them!

I had a very similar experience with DC#1. I hadn't considered that I wouldn't want something touching my nipples. I remember using a gel pack that I kept in the fridge. I think they were called soothies. Those felt SOOOOO GOOOOD and I thought that something that could be heated and cooled would help for plugged ducts, which I am very prone to, and with sore nipples. Anyone else have an opinion?

I used Booby Tubes in the beginning and loved them. I would recommend buying two sets though, so one set can always be in the freezer ready to go. When my DD first started I was pretty sore and they were the only thing that soothed me. Then, I got a blocked duct when she was about 3 weeks and again they saved me (warmed though). I just popped them in the microwave for 30 seconds and it was instant relief.
