planning to get tent for dd's bday. need advice.

We want to get our 3-yr-old a new tent. We have DinoLand right now and it's always lying flat on the floor because it's not sturdy at all. I have to constantly help her put it back up. Want to get her a sturdier one. I did see one that costed over $60 and looked v. sturdy but, that's a bit expensive.

Does anyone have this?

and not wanting to get characters but I would consider it if it is sturdy

TIA for your help.

We got this one for Dd and she loves it. It is really sturdy and easy to put up and take down.

If you have an IKEA near you, I got this one for Micah his first Christmas. It is still standing and going strong. It is his reading corner. He has a basket of books, a blanket, and a pillow in there. At times, there has been a small chair, too.

At 10 bucks, it was a steal!

Okay, this one is one of the more expensive tents, but it is BIG and very sturdy:

Cottage Hosue

I got it for DD for Christmas and she loves it. Inside I put her table, 2 chairs, doll bed, and a book shelf. There is still room to play. I could also put her toddler bed inside with room left to play.

DS got a Discovery Kids play tent for Xmas and it was broken with in a week so I DON'T recommend that brand if you come across it in your search (this is the exact set, the tunnel is still good but the tent is trashed http://www.amazon.com/Discovery-Kids.../dp/B002RWT87U).

I replaced it with a Thomas the Train one from PlayHut which is awesome. I can fold it up in two seconds and it fits flat behind one of our hutches for storage. I think most of their tents are branded (think Dora, Thomas etc.) but it's a really sturdy tent and tunnel set up.

My mom bought my boys a tent from Bass Pro Shop. It is easy to set up and a good size for playing in the house. I think it was about $25. No characters, just blue & yellow.

Thanks a lot and NaturallyPeachy for that specific info. I think I did see that brand name but, not that exact tent with a tunnel.

Dh of course said to go with the Ikea one because it is such a good price and it solves the purpose, so to speak. I was looking to see if they had different colors in it but, that was the only one and the other issue I had was that it doesn't have a flap to close the entrance.

This one from Ikea seems good

but, will have to see it's sturdiness.
