Is there any way you could set a timer on the computer? I know what you mean about needing your daughter to be quiet while you're trying to get the baby down for a nap; I used to let my toddler watch a 30-minute TV show while I did that.
If you had a timer set on the computer, you could allow however much computer time was needed to get the baby down for a nap, but then the computer just wouldn't let her continue once her time was up.
We use a Macintosh, and each of the kids have their own accounts. The Parental Controls software that's part of the operating system lets us specify how much time they can each have on the computer per day, and we have to specifically authorize more. Most days they don't even use their allotment. I'm sure there must be software available for Windows that does something similar.
