What's Your Progressive Doc's Favorite Vax?

I just went to a workshop today by Lauren Feder in L.A. She is generally anti-vaccination, but does vaccinate in her office. She says the ones she gives the most are:
1. DTaP and
2. HIB

and she would consider Rubella for an older girl.

I'm curious about other anti-vax or selective-vax pediatricians. If you have one of those, what are his/her top three vaccinations.

i DON'T have one of those type peds(mine is threatening to drop us for not vaxing), but once i told her i wasn't comfy w/ any vax, she emphasized HIB and Prevnar.

My doctor doesn't really have a favorite; I wouldn't say he is progressive really in the way you are talking about but he has never had any problems with all the changes we have made to the official schedule or even with how our personal schedule has changed over the years.

We have talked extensively about how medical training has changed since the introduction of the hib vaccine, how certain presentations are not seen anymore, so now, for example, doctors don't really learn about epiglotittis by SEEING it in the training but rather through text books, as the hib vaccine has pretty much eliminated it in children.

My kids' old ped in Canada recommended DTaP. Curiously, he wasn't adamant about the newer meningitis vaxes.

The GP we just saw here in Australia signed our exemption forms but recommended we reconsider on DT.

So, that seems to be a bit of commonality, even in the different countries.

My pedi is select/delay with some patients who do not vax at all.
I delay/select.

Her recs are-
1 - DTaP
2 - HIB
3 - Prevnar

We have just finished DTaP and she's had one HIB. I need to reread my info but I don't think we will do prevnar.

We had our first visit with our new ped. today. She's strongly in favor of vaccines, but is also strongly in favor of parental choice. My youngest had her 9 yr well visit and she recommened DT and Varicella. I haven't done any research in a while so that's why I'm back on the boards to figure out what we'll do?

I'll be interested to see what she recommends for my soon to be 15 yr old and 11 yr old. Both of them have had the majority of their shots. My nine yr old only had one dose of DT at nine months.
