Anyone else having this? I've been getting them this past week and I don't know why. My BP was 108/61 today, so that isn't an issue. They are little spots of white light with a ring of black that kind of look like they are swimming in front of me for a second or two. What could be causing this?

I got them with my daughter... at first they figured it was blood pressure but my bp is never anything short of perfect/slightly lower than perfect but not low... so that wasnt it.
after my doc checked for that she just shrugged and said as long as they were not being followed by migraines or any other symptoms we were not going to worry. Dont think there ended up being anything at all to worry about... she was born a few days before her due date and perfectly healthy.

I get them a lot. For me they don't seem to be anything bad, for my mom they were. She started getting them shortly before having her retinas partially detatch. She nearly went blind because of it. It was caused by the pregnancy. I would just check with your eye doctor to make sure that it's not a precursor to anything. You're probably fine, but I wouldn't take the risk of being in my mom's camp!

that does sound logical... i was not able to nap regularly due to having a 2 year old DS running around and trying to clean while he slept. Would explain why I had them with DD but not with DS.
