DD is a few months over 3. I am trying desperatly to potty train her. She learned to pee in the potty 90% of the time pretty quick and is GREAT at releasing (even better than me! lol) and can even do a tiny trickle just to make sure! However....she.will.not.go.poop.in the potty. NADA. Just doesn't do it. TWICE in the last 2 days she pooped 3-5 minutes AFTER just being on the potty and peeing! I have her clean up her pants, dump her poops in the toilet and get clean clothes (I wipe her up with wipes) for herself. I don't punish her but it makes her do the work and she knows how quick it is to use the potty instead of her pants. I'm just not sure what's going on...she can't figure out how to stop it? I give her one skittle for pees and have told her she can have 2 skittles for pooping.
I HAVE to have her potty trained pretty darn decently for daycare. There are no other options. I'm just crossing my fingers that she sticks to pee during daycare hours so they don't kick her out for not being potty learned.
She obviously has an older brother that she knows uses the potty (and used to see all the time) as well as having joined me many times in the bathroom.
I use nakey time occasionally when she wants to stay indoors but it hasn't worked. DS potty trained in ONE DAY after having to wear wet pants for several hours (out at the park with no other clothes) and suddenly he was potty trained (even night trained!) so I didn't have to go through any "learning/transition" time!
Ideas?
