I'm so excited I found this in time.

Missed it last year...
I'm wondering what advice seasoned Treasure Map Makers would have with regard to the "be careful what you wish for" issue. I can get totally detailed and very specific, but then I chicken out and wonder if I should be the one that decides that detail. What if I choose something that actually isn't in my/our best interest and mess everything up??
For example, we rent a house that has some issues. It's a fixer upper, and it has tick issues (6 out of 7 of us have contracted Lyme disease shortly after we moved her less than a year ago). But I love it here! I want this house, I want it to work out that we wind up buying this house, and that we fix it up just the way we want it and do what needs to be done to control the tick problem. I feel
home here - for the first time ever. But, since we lived here its been so much work (in terms of daily life, not fixing things)! Very intense things have happened to us, immediately after we moved in and it hasn't stopped yet. I wonder if this is where we are supposed to be, and am I qualified (for lack of a better word) to make the decision to put things in motion to stay here? Am I ready to deal with the "consequences" of being here?
How do you all deal with that kind of an issue?
