my dd is 13 months old and she still spits up several times a week...oftentimes she'll wake up within 30 min of going to sleep and there will be a big wet spot where her head was, too big to be just drool. she's only spit up a handful of times during the days when she's awake, but this happens when she sleeps several times a week.
in addition, she often makes a gurgle sound from her throat when I am nursing her to sleep.
any ideas what might be going on? she can be very squirmy too when she nurses, which makes me think she might have lots of gas, and she wakes up several times during the night.
