I'm not the bold type normally. When breastfeeding in public I don't hide either. But I'm not one for the quick wittied comments I'm really lucky that I have friends that are.
Case in point:
Me: waiting for bus in station feeding my daughter.
Random woman: Wouldn't you be more comfortable somewhere else?
I just kinda turned red, shake my head no and keep feeding her.
My best friend quickly quips: It's pretty obvious you'd be. (add extra shameful glare at random woman)
