new, BPA free pump accessories??

Just wondering what you all would do, purchase new, BPA free accessories for my breastpump, or just concentrate on getting BPA free storage bags? I'm wondering how harmful the BPA would be in my milk from just the pump and lines??

I'd just worry about the storage. The milk is never in the lines, and in the collection portion for such a short amount of time. I'd get new bpa free or glass collection bottles though.

That was my thinking also, I have glass bottles and I would make sure to get BPA free storage. thanks!

Is there some concern with the harmful chemicals getting released when the plastic is heated? Just wondering if part of the problem with BPA accessories is the cleaning in hot water...

What brand of pump do you have? The Medela I used in 2006 was completely BPA free in their storage containers, bags, and tubes at least. Tat company has been BPA free for awhile.

If you know there is BPA in the pump, I would focus mostly on storage containers and just be cautious not to heat or scratch the items that contain BPA.
