Yup. Trust me, you're going to have more of the same as the years go by, in different forms.

Homeschool, or teach and model resilience. The world is not always shiny/happy and indulgent. I really fail to see what was so out of line with the interaction given the teacher's position. Perhaps you DS can learn something positive from this around his own behaviours, and his own responses?
